Sue loves NYC My Week MayI promised you that I’ll write an English article evey once in a while. So, here is an English recap of my week. I can say: this week – well especially Thursday – was quite eventful.

You all know that I love Tiffany & Co., therefore, I was very excited to be given the opportunity to visit the store in Hamburg and try on their The Great Gatsby Collection. Loved the pearls! Of course, I also checked out the other jewelry. You girls can guess which kind of rings I also tried (bling, bling). I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Press Day: Love these Heels

Am Anfang der Woche stand Teil 1 des Umzugs nach Hamburg auf dem Programm und bevor wir gestern noch einmal zurück in die alte Wohnung gefahren sind, habe ich die Chance genutzt kurz beim Press Day von Network PR in Hamburg vorbeizuschauen.

Tommy Hilfiger Denim könnte ich mir wie immer einmal komplett in den Schrank hängen – der lässige Look ist einfach genau mein Fall. Untypischerweise habe ich mich aber gleich in drei Paar High Heels verliebt. Die braunen Bally Boots sind unglaublich hoch, aber sehen einfach toll aus, die Ankleboots, die vor kurzem bei Tommy Hilfiger noch über den Runway liefen sind wunderbar und besonders gut gefielen mir die Platform Loafers von Hilfiger. Gibt es auch in der Kombination Schwarz mit Electric Blue (meiner momentanen Lieblingsfarbe) und als flache Version. Sehr britisch, sehr cool und dann noch in Pink oder Blau – ich bin verliebt.

Ihr könnt euch bald aber auch noch auf ein weiteres Schuhlabel freuen, das mich auf dem Press Day überzeugt hat. So viel schon einmal vorweg: es kommt aus dem sonnigen Kalifornien, hat einen Charity Hintergrund und der Name ist kurz und leicht zu merken. Seid gespannt.

Da wir ja bald wieder nach Hamburg ziehen, bin ich momentan irgendwie sehr gern “Sailor-Sue”. Ich zeige euch heute, wie ich das klassiche Petit Bateau Shirt gern trage. Petit Bateau celebrates its 120th birthday. However, the Petit Bateau look is still fresh and maritime. Since we will move to Hamburg soon, I love dressing as “Sailor-Sue”. Today, I want to show you, how I wear my Petit Bateau shirt. You can also see a campaign image with French singer Yelle wearing the new collection, which is a cooperation with Maison Kitsuné. Nautical Style Tommy Hilfiger UK“Moin, moin”! Tommy Hilfiger zeigt momentan maritime Looks. Ich liebe diesen Style und könnte mir jeden Tag einen klassichen, dunkelblauen Pullover kaufen. Anker-Motive sind zwar als Tattoos mein schlimmster Albtraum, auf Pullovern finde ich sie dagegen richtig hübsch. Die Anker-Ketten des Hamburger Labels UK by Umahan Karakan passen perfekt zum maritimen Look und werten unifarbene Stücke und Jeans-Hemden auf. Na dann, Ahoi!

“Moin, moin” is a greeting used in Hamburg – like “hi”. Tommy Hilfiger showed us a lot of nautical styles recently. I really like the maritime look – navy is just the perfect color for classic pullovers and anchor motives represent the nautical style perfectly. The silver necklaces by UK – Umahan Karakan are the perfect match for the navy Tommy Hilfiger pullover.

Tommy Hilfiger Denim SS2013 Look 19Kürzlich war ich in Hamburg beim Press Day von Network PR und habe mir u.a. die Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2013 Kollektionen angesehen. Hier sind meine beiden Lieblingslooks, die ich euch versprochen hatte zu zeigen. Tommy Hilfiger Denim steht für einen lässigen, sportlichen Look, den man jeden Tag tragen kann. Meine aktuelle Liebe für Jeanshemden unter Strickpullovern wird bei Tommy Hilfiger Denim auch im nächsten Frühjahr fortgeführt. Am besten gefiel mir aber eindeutig die Kombination von Strick mit Blumenprints.

Not long ago, I saw the new Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2013 collections at Network PR’s Press Day in Hamburg. Today, I want to show you my favorite looks of Tommy Hilfiger Denim. Hilfiger’s denim line is very casual and perfect for an everyday look. My love for denim shirts under pullovers will be continued by Tommy Hilfiger next spring. Here you can see two great looks combining knitwear and flower prints.

Diese Woche habe ich zwei Tage in Hamburg verbracht, liebe Freunde getroffen und mir die Spring Summer 2013 Kollektionen beim Press Day von Network PR angesehen. Wie ihr wisst, liebe ich Tommy Hilfiger und werde euch auch Anfang nächster Woche meine Lieblingslooks hier zeigen. Begeistert war ich auch von “Karl”, dem noch recht jungen Label von Karl Lagerfeld – besonders die Accessoires mit Handschuhen und Kragen sind wirklich sehr “Karl”. Bei Geox habe ich sehr süße, bunte Kinder-Sneaker gesehen. Auch für uns wird der nächste Sommer an den Füßen bunt. Besonders gut gefielen mir zwei Modelle in grellem Pink und Orange. Hier seht ihr ein paar Eindrücke meiner Tage in Hamburg und des Press Days, dessen Location, das ehemalige Hauptzollamt, einfach perfekt war. Mehr Bilder gibt es auf Instagram (suelovesnyc).

This week, I have spent two days in Hamburg, met some friends and saw the new Spring Summer 2013 collections at Network PR’s press day. You all know, that I love Tommy Hilfiger (his collections are just always so American) and I will show you my favorites in another article next week. I also really liked Karl Lagerfeld’s new “Karl” collection – the accessories, gloves and collars, were very “Karl”. At Geox I spotted cute kids sneakers in different colors. Also the women’s collection was very colorful – I especially liked two styles in bright pink and bright orange. Erinnert ihr euch, wie Doutzen Kroes während unseres Interviews sagte: “Blau ist das neue Schwarz”? Diesen Herbst trage ich auch häufig Outfits mit viel Blau. Eines meiner Lieblingsoutfits für den Herbst: mein blauer Strickpullover, dunkle Jeans und meine neuen Biker Boots. Die letzten Tage habe ich in Hamburg verbracht, weil ich auf dem Press Day von Network PR war (in den nächsten Tagen erfahrt ihr mehr davon) und dies war eines meiner Outfits. Langsam habe ich wirklich eine leichte “Strickpullover-Sucht” und bin sehr verliebt in meine neuen Biker Boots. Endlich konnte ich euch auch einmal meine Liebeskind Tasche zeigen, die ich im Sommer in Berlin gekauft habe. Wie findet ihr mein lässiges Herbst-Outfit?

Do you remember, how Doutzen Kroes said “blue is the new black” during our interview? This fall, I like wearing blue a lot. I love combining blue knit wear with dark denim and my new biker boots. This week, I was in Hamburg for the Network PR press day (I will tell you all about it in the next days) and this is an outfit I wore in Hamburg. I have developed a slight “pullover addiction” in the last month and have just bought these biker boots. Do you like my casual outfit?

October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”

… therefore, many labels and designers give to charity by creating limited editions. Estee Lauder also has limited editions and even turned the Empire State Building pink to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Estee Lauder’s breast cancer awareness campaign. Elizabeth Hurley flicked the switch to illuminate the Empire State Building with pink light – the color of the international breast cancer fund raising campaign.

Tommy Hilfiger’s BHI bag supports “Breast Health International” – the organisation helps women with breast cancer to handle costs that are not covered by their health insurance. The BHI bag ist beautiful and the blue, red and white leather shows the colors that are typical for Tommy Hilfiger.

Hard Rock Café has also designed a collection named “Pinktober” for “Breast Cancer Awareness month”. The collection is available in Berlin, Munich and Cologne and part of the proceeds go to to Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V.

Stella & Dot – you might remember the event in Berlin last week – also designed some special items and supports DKMS, the German Bone Marrow Donor Center for “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”. I especially like the “hope” bracelet with a tiny rosegold angel wing.

Tommy Hilfiger New York Fashion Week SS 2013 First Looks 6

The Tommy Hilfiger collection for Spring Summer 2013 at New York Fashion Week – what can I say? Jason Wu and BCBG Max Azria showed us, how to be sexy in leather and lace (you can see more here) and Tommy Hilfiger just shows us: our natural selves. A Tommy Hilfiger collection has its typical characteristics: American-look, blue and red as signature colors, classic cuts. This is exactly why I love Hilifger so much. We don’t feel like going to some circus while wearing Hilfiger and I have never (!) worn a Hilfiger piece only once (they don’t hide in my closet like other pieces).

The Spring Summer 2013 collection shows the typical Hilfiger-characteristics and lots of stripes. I could wear striped shirts every single day and recently had to stop myself from buying my boyfriend yet another striped Tommy Hilfiger shirt. You just always look good wearing a maritime Look. One of my highlights: sand-colored coarse knit pullovers! I can already imagine wearing one of those with a classic pair of jeans shorts at the beach.

Tommy Hilfiger also showed zigzags that reminded me a little of Missoni, but had the Hilfiger colors blue, red and white. Enough of all the enthusiasm … but what can I say, I guess, I am a your typical Hilfiger girl.
