I love the label Schumacher. During my time at University of Mannheim I once interned for Dorothee Schumacher for two months. For Sue loves NYC I asked Dorothee Schumacher for her summer must haves and was also looking for advice on what to pack for my summer vacation. I will go to Berlin next week for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and right afterwards, my boyfriend and I will spend a week in Florence, Italy. After vacationing in Italy, I will fly to London for two days. I have to pack for all three events – wow… Good that Dorothee Schumacher revealed her favorite picks for a summer vacation.

Dorothee Schumacher’s shows are always a highlight at Berlin Fashion Week! The feminine collections are beautiful in every detail and made for strong, modern women. Nude is an important color scheme for Schumacher, since it is “the color of the soul” in her view – so we also saw nude in the newest collection. Nude is paired with a beautiful emerald color, yellow, red, green, a light pink and lovely prints. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection is all about the diva. Dorothee Schumacher got inspired in Japan for this collection and I could feel the power of the collection. The woman wearing Schumacher next fall is self-confident, powerful and glamorous. Schumacher plays with different fabrics: soft silk, leather with fringes and also fur. As usual, I also loved the bags, this time Schumacher showed large bags worn like clutches. A collection that makes us look forward to fall 2012.

Dorothee Schumachers Show ist immer ein Highlight der Fashion Week in Berlin! Die femininen Kollektionen sind wunderschön und durchdacht bis ins letzte Detail und sind gemacht für die starke, moderne Frau. Nude ist für Dorothee Schumacher eine wichtige Farbe, weil es für sie die Farbe der Seele darstellt – deshalb haben wir natürlich auch in der neuesten Schumacher Kollektion Nude gesehen. Es wird allerdings mit tollen Farben kombiniert: Smaragd, Gelb, Rot, Grün, ein zartes Pink und interessante Prints. Die Fall/Winter 2012 Kollektion handelt vom Diven-Stil. Dorothee Schumacher fand ihre Inspiration für die Herbst/Winter-Kollektion in Japan und ich konnte die Kraft der Kollektion geradezu spüren. Die Schumacher-Frau ist im nächsten Herbst selbstbewusst, stark und glamourös. Schumacher spielt dabei wieder mit verschiedenen Materialen: Seide, Leder (mit Fransen) und auch Pelz. Wie immer haben mir auch besonders die Taschen gefallen, die in der Fall/Winter 2012 Kollektion als große Clutches getragen werden.Eine Kollektion, die uns mit Freuden auf den nächsten Herbst blicken lässt.

Fashion Week Berlin: Schumacher Goodie

The Schumacher Show was great (I will tell you all about it at the end of this week) and I love that there is always a little goodie or goodie bag for everyone (not just the front row). This time for the Fall/Winter 2012 Show, we were provided with a beautiful scarf that went perfect with my outfit of the day! Thank you so much!

Vielen lieben Dank an Schumacher für das Goodie auf der Fall/Winter 2012 Show! Ich finde es super, dass bei Schumacher nicht nur die Front Row eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit erhält. Today, I will be at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin again. I am very much looking forward to seeing Dorothee Schumacher’s new collection and the Rena Lange and Dawid Tomaszewski Shows. Heute bin ich wieder einmal auf der Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Ich freue mich sehr auf die neue Kollektion von Dorothee Schumacher und die Schauen von Rena Lange und Dawid Tomaszewski. Im Hotel Adlon werde ich auch auf jeden Fall dem Greenshowroom einen Besuch abstatten, Den Fashion Week Schedule habe ich euch schon gezeigt und ihr könnt bald noch viel mehr über die Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Week auf Sue loves nyc lesen.

Everybody loves sneaking around a little. We usually don’t want to admit it, but we are always curious, what’s in other people’s bags, drawers or closets. I am giving you the chance to take a peek inside my bag today. If you do not know me yet, it’s still an easy guess that I am a huge Marc Jacobs lover right?

This is what’s in my Marc Jacobs today: an umbrella (living in Hamburg, this item is necessary), my iPhone with Marc by Marc Jacobs cover, hair tie, Blistex (the best!), Dior lipstick (I usually prefer lipgloss, but I love the Dior Addict lipsticks), Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush lipgloss (tastes like oranges), the new autograph card of my boyfriend (I went to his Basketball game last weekend. I am so proud!), my Marc Jacobs wallet, black notebook and pen (by Schumacher), hand sanitizer (I guess this is the American in me, ready to kill all germs around me) and last but not least: chewing gum.

Jeder liebt es, ein wenig herumzuschnüffeln. Wir geben es gewöhnlich nicht gern zu, aber sind alle neugierig, was sich in den Handtaschen, Schubladen oder Schränken anderer Leute verbirgt. Heute dürft ihr einen Blick in meine Tasche werfen. Falls ihr mich noch nicht kennt, ist es wohl trotzdem leicht zu erraten, dass ich ein großer Marc Jacobs Fan bin, oder?

Das ist heute in meiner Marc Jacobs Tasche zu finden: ein Schirm (wenn man in Hamburg wohnt absolut notwendig), mein iPhone mit Marc by Marc Jacobs Hülle, ein Haargummi, Blistex (hilft am besten!), Dior Lippenstift (ich mag normalerweise lieber Lipgloss, aber liebe die Dior Addict Lippenstifte), Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lipgloss (schmeckt nach Orangen), die neue Autogrammkarte von meinem Freund (letztes Wochenende war ich auf seinem Basketballspiel. Ich bin sehr stolz auf ihn!), mein Marc Jacobs Geldbeutel, ein schwarzes Notizbuch und ein Kulli (von Schumacher), Hand-Hygiene-Gel (da kommt der Amerikaner in mir raus – am besten alle Keime abtöten), und schließlich: Kaugummi.
