I love to go outlet shopping and have visited quite a few outlet centers in the States and in Germany in the past. When I was in Berlin for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week two weeks ago I had a great day at Designer Outlet Berlin with my friends and boyfriend. Sadly, it rained almost all day, but we had fun anyway. I liked the atmosphere of the outlet, because it is similar to the outlet villages I love to go to when I am in the States. The little colorful houses hold 80 shops. Among my favorites: Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Liebeskind Berlin, Calvin Klein Underwear, Levi’s and The Body Shop.
My boyfriend found two pairs of sneakers at Nike and I was so happy to browse through the Liebeskind Berlin store. I wanted to buy a Liebeskind bag for a long time and found a very pretty and large (so I can take my laptop with me) blue/purple leather bag. The rain made us run into the shop Watchstation – what a great coinscidence, because I found a beautiful Marc by Marc Jacobs watch there (yes, I know it’s an addiction…).
I know some of you might think outlet shopping is boring, because it is last season, but really: bodylotion by The Body Shop, a classic Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and a beautiful leather bag by Liebeskind Berlin? You cannot go wrong with that.
