So sad that I am not in New York for Fashion Week. However, of course, I will tell you what’s hot on New York’s runways at the moment. If two designers have the same idea, it should be pretty clear that we will have a new trend next summer. Jason Wu and BCBG Max Azria both showed that summer does not always stand for bright colors and flowers in fashion, when they presented leather and lace. Inspired by Helmut Newton’s photography and maybe also “Fifty Shades of Grey” (yeah admit it – I have also read all the books) both leather and lace will be important in our wardrobe next summer. I was, personally, more into Jason Wu’s collection, but also absolutely fell in love with a coral BCBG Max Azria dress (you can see it at minute 1:01 in the video). So far, so sexy!

Speaking of orange and BXB Max Azria – should I get this sequined BCBG skirt or not?

Schade, dass ich gerade nicht selbst bei der Fashion Week in New York sein kann. Ich werde euch aber natürlich trotzdem berichten, was gerade angesagtes auf den New Yorker Laufstegen gezeigt wird. Wenn zwei Design-Teams die selbe Idee haben, dann steht das schon deutlich für einen Trend. Jason Wu und BCBG Max Azria zeigten beide, dass Sommer nicht immer bunte Blumenprints bedeutet als sie die Kombination von Leder und Spitze auf der NYFW Spring Summer 2013 präsentierten. Inspiriert von den Fotografien Helmut Newtons und wahrscheinlich auch von “Fifty Shades of Grey” (gebt es zu – ich habe sie auch gelesen, die drei Bücher) wird der Sommer bei Jason Wu und BCBG Max Azria sehr sexy. Mir gefiel eigentlich Wus Kollektion besser, aber ich habe mich auch absolut in ein korallfarbenes Kleid von BCBG Max Azria verliebt (ihr könnt es im Video bei Minute 1:01 sehen). So weit, so sexy!

Apropos korallfarben und BCBG Max Azria – ich überlege mir diesen orangefarbenen BCBG Pailetten-Rock (Sale!) zu kaufen. Was meint ihr?
