Today, I am invited to a wedding (not the reception itself, but the party afterwards) and wanted to show you my outfit. I could not decide which dress to wear, but finally chose my new blue Hallhuber dress. Sadly, it is not summer yet, so I added black tights and a pink blazer. Of course, I am wearing jewelry my boyfriend gave to me during the last years: a beautiful Tiffany & Co. bracelet with a tiny heart (Elsa Peretti collection) and a necklace from Pearlfection with a heart pendant engraved with (“Love” and “Jens & Susan”). I know this is not the typical wedding outfit, but I still think I am dressed for the occasion. What do you think?

Heute bin ich zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen (nicht zur Trauung selbst, sondern zur Hochzeitsfeier am Abend) und wollte euch kurz mein Outfit zeigen. Ich konnte mich nur schwer entscheiden, was ich anziehen soll, aber habe mich dann für mein neues blaues Hallhuber Kleid entschieden. Da leider doch noch nicht richtig Sommer ist, kombiniere ich schwarze Strumpfhosen und meinen pinken Blazer zum Kleid. Natürlich trage ich zur Hochzeit Schmuck, den mir mein Freund in den letzten Jahren geschenkt hat: ein wunderschönes Tiffany’s Armband mit Herzanhänger (Elsa Peretti Kollektion) und eine Kette von Pearlfection, ebenfalls mit Herz (eingraviert: “Love” und “Jens & Susan”). Es ist kein typisches Hochzeitsoutfit, aber ich denke, es passt trotzdem zum Anlass. Was meint ihr?

Since I only started this blog, I still wanted to show you, what I wore last summer (doesn’t this remind you of the movie: I know what you did last summer?). I am usually a Jeans and T-Shirt kind of girl, so I love wearing jeans shorts at summertime. With all the color blocking going on, my summer wardrobe was also quite colorful. I loved my Minnetonkas and am so sad that I am not able to wear them at the moment (the chance of rain and getting them all muddy is just too big). I am quite tall (1,77 m) and so I like flats a lot – I have to admit, they are also just incredibly comfortable. So, this is me saying “Goodbye summer” and “Hello fall”!

Da ich den Blog gerade erst angefangen habe, möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten, was ich im letzten Sommer getragen habe (so nach dem Motto: Ich weiß was du letzten Sommer getan/getragen hast). Ich liebe Jeans und T-Shirt und deshalb trage ich im Sommer unheimlich gern Jeans-Shorts. Diesen Sommer war Color Blocking angesagt und deswegen war meine Sommer-Garderobe auch sehr farbenfroh (okay, nicht nur wegen des Trends. Wer will schon im Sommer nur Schwarz tragen?). Meine Minnetonkas waren meine treuen Begleiter und ich bin sehr traurig, dass ich sie momentan nicht tragen kann (Regen und Schlamm würden ihnen nicht gerade gut tun). Mit 1,77 m bin ich recht groß und trage deshalb gern flache Schuhe – es hat aber auch etwas mit Gemütlichkeit zu tun, das muss ich zugeben. Heute sage ich also “Auf Wiedersehen Sommer” und “Hallo Herbst”!
