Dorothee Schumacher’s shows are always a highlight at Berlin Fashion Week! The feminine collections are beautiful in every detail and made for strong, modern women. Nude is an important color scheme for Schumacher, since it is “the color of the soul” in her view – so we also saw nude in the newest collection. Nude is paired with a beautiful emerald color, yellow, red, green, a light pink and lovely prints. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection is all about the diva. Dorothee Schumacher got inspired in Japan for this collection and I could feel the power of the collection. The woman wearing Schumacher next fall is self-confident, powerful and glamorous. Schumacher plays with different fabrics: soft silk, leather with fringes and also fur. As usual, I also loved the bags, this time Schumacher showed large bags worn like clutches. A collection that makes us look forward to fall 2012.

Dorothee Schumachers Show ist immer ein Highlight der Fashion Week in Berlin! Die femininen Kollektionen sind wunderschön und durchdacht bis ins letzte Detail und sind gemacht für die starke, moderne Frau. Nude ist für Dorothee Schumacher eine wichtige Farbe, weil es für sie die Farbe der Seele darstellt – deshalb haben wir natürlich auch in der neuesten Schumacher Kollektion Nude gesehen. Es wird allerdings mit tollen Farben kombiniert: Smaragd, Gelb, Rot, Grün, ein zartes Pink und interessante Prints. Die Fall/Winter 2012 Kollektion handelt vom Diven-Stil. Dorothee Schumacher fand ihre Inspiration für die Herbst/Winter-Kollektion in Japan und ich konnte die Kraft der Kollektion geradezu spüren. Die Schumacher-Frau ist im nächsten Herbst selbstbewusst, stark und glamourös. Schumacher spielt dabei wieder mit verschiedenen Materialen: Seide, Leder (mit Fransen) und auch Pelz. Wie immer haben mir auch besonders die Taschen gefallen, die in der Fall/Winter 2012 Kollektion als große Clutches getragen werden.Eine Kollektion, die uns mit Freuden auf den nächsten Herbst blicken lässt.
